Jason Anderson

Anderson hosts “The Zone” 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays on Sports Radio 810. Anderson graduated from Lee’s Summit North and Northwest Missouri State University.

Anderson, a Lee’s Summit native, came from 810 from ESPN 680 WHBE in Louisville, Kentucky, where he served as program director for ESPN Louisville and hosted an afternoon drive show for nine years.

Anderson interned with the station in 2000 and eventually was hired to host a night show and help with Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals coverage. When Union Broadcasting expanded outside the market Jason was chosen to help start the station in Louisville. He left only knowing heartache in the years rooting for the Chiefs, Royals and Mizzou. He returns with a World Series, a home playoff win for the Chiefs, and an empty space on the wall where the Mizzou Final Four memorabilia will eventually go.

“The opportunity to host a show on Sports Radio 810 is one I dreamed of since I was in high school,” Anderson stated. “It is surreal and humbling to be chosen to host the middays.”

Jason met his wife Caelin in Louisville and they have two kids, Everett and Juliette.
