The summer transfer window is into its final month for the major European leagues, which means the biggest clubs are looking to make a splash in the market before the new season begins. Check out the latest gossip below, and see all official deals here.
TOP STORY: Man City's Bernardo Silva rejects Spurs move
Bernardo Silva has turned down a move to Tottenham Hotspur as part of a potential deal that would take Harry Kane to Manchester City.
The Athletic reports that the 27-year-old has no intention of making the switch to Spurs and is instead holding out for a move to Spain.
It is well reported that City boss Pep Guardiola is interested in a move for England captain Kane, but sources have told ESPN that Tottenham CEO Daniel Levy values Kane, who has three years left on his contract, at more than £150 million.
Silva was reportedly involved in a first offer for the 28-year-old Kane that was later rejected. City have made it known that the Portugal international is free to leave the club after a four-year stay if they receive a suitable offer.
Atletico Madrid are a club that have long been linked with a move for Silva and are said to still be keen on a swoop for him as they look to bolster their ranks to retain the LaLiga title they won last season.
If he was to stay at the club, game time could be limited for Silva after the £100m arrival of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa with the Etihad outfit still looking to raise funds off the back of his move and any potential transfer for Kane.

22.08 BST: Sticking with Atletico Madrid, OK Diario claims that the club have not yet ruled out brining back forward Antoine Griezmann.
The Spanish outlet says that Atleti are prepared to return to the negotiating table for the France star, who Barcelona tried to offload earlier this summer in order to kept Lionel Messi. Now 30, Griezmann enjoyed his best years under Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid, scoring 133 goals in 257 games between 2014-19 and winning La Liga Player of the Season in 2015.

21.39 BST: Despite brining in Romelu Lukaku last week for a whopping £97.5 million, Chelsea may not be quite done with their transfer business.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the club are still considering brining in another midfielder and that Atletico Madrid's Saul Niguez is a "possibility." The 26-year-old Saul has been linked with a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano this summer, especially since Atletico signed a replacement in Rodrigo De Paul. Romano also adds that Chelsea are also still working on a deal for highly-rated Sevilla defender Jules Jounde.

The move will see the 25-year-old play in the country of his ancestry for the first time and join up with ex-Premier Leaguers like Filipe Luis, Kenedy and Mauricio Isla. A Brazil international, Pereira has made 75 career appearances for United but has spent much of the last few seasons on loan with the likes of Granada, Valencia and Lazio.
20.01 BST: New Juventus signing Manuel Locatelli has said that he deserved his move from Sassuolo to the Turin giants, adding it had always been his dream to play for the club.
The midfielder, who was one of Italy's standout performers in their Euro 2020 success, completed a 37.5 million euro ($40.94 million) move to Juve on Thursday, looking to help the club regain their Serie A crown this season.
"This has always been the dream I had as a child, we have a Juventus family," he told a news conference on Friday ahead of Juve's opening game of the season against Udinese.
"I have to get into the role right away, if I'm here it's because I deserve it and can't wait to start.
"Juve has always been my priority, luckily I'm here, the negotiation wasn't easy. There was a moment when I was worried but luckily my family and my girlfriend were close to me and now I'm here."

18.12 BST: Leeds are reportedly closing in on standout Club Brugge winger Noa Lang.
Leeds and the 22-year-old have reportedly agreed to personal terms and Voetbal Belgie understands the two clubs are now in negotiations regarding a transfer fee. Lang racked up 28 goal contributions (17 goals, 11 assists) last season on the way to winning Belgian League's Young Footballer of the Year, and is expected to command a transfer fee in the region of £20 million.
17.30 BST: What does the future hold for Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo, with his contract expiring in 2022?
16.44 BST: West Ham manager David Moyes has confirmed he wants to bring Man United midfielder Jesse Lingard back to the club after his successful loan spell.
Lingard, 28, scored nine goals in 16 Premier League appearances last season but has returned to Old Trafford to fight for a place in the first team.
"Of course we really enjoyed having Jesse [Lingard] but Jesse is a Manchester United player and the questions are not for me but are for Manchester United," Moyes said. "We enjoyed having him and if the opportunity arose for us to get Jesse then we would have an interest but in my mind, he is at Manchester United and it is not for us to discuss.
"We have been trying hard and we are trying to add to a good group of players and get ourselves some more options. We know we have a challenging season ahead of us, an exciting one and I hope we are able to do something."
16.06 BST: Manchester City forward Liam Delap has signed a new contract with the club until 2026.
Delap, 18, is highly rated at City, having scored 27 goals in 24 games for U23 team, and could play a role in the first team if they don't sign Tottenham's Harry Kane, given they have few other central striking options.
"It's obviously a massive achievement for me," he told the club website. "I am so happy. I have been here now for two years and every day I have loved it. I have just loved the place and all the people. I can't wait to do even more.
"I've got everything here. I've just fallen into place here and that's why I've committed my future here. There is always someone there to support you. They make you feel so welcome and you get the best coaching and the best players playing with you so it improves your game."
16.00 BST: Manchester City defender Abby Dahlkemper has left the club, transferring to her NWSL rights-holding team North Carolina Courage.
The 28-year-old United States international only moved to City in January 2021 but has returned to America.
15.51 BST: Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has said midfielder Philippe Coutinho will get another chance at Camp Nou in the wake of Lionel Messi's departure to PSG.
ESPN reported last month that Barca were reluctant to let the Brazil international leave unless a big offer arrived but Messi's exit has eased the pressure on the club to get rid of their biggest earners.
Coutinho, 29, has not featured for Barca since last December due to injury and is not in the squad for Saturday's trip to Athletic Bilbao in LaLiga, but Koeman said he could come into contention for next week's clash against Getafe.
"Philippe needs another week of training before being in the squad," Koeman said in a news conference on Friday. "For me, he's a great player and he can be important for Barca. I am absolutely counting on him for this season."
Coutinho has played 90 times for Barca, scoring 24 goals, since becoming their record signing when he joined from Liverpool for €160m in 2018. He spent the 2019-20 season on loan at Bayern Munich but returned to Barca last season only to seriously injure his knee after just 14 appearances.
Sources told ESPN earlier this summer that AC Milan had sounded out a potential deal for Coutinho, while Arsenal were linked with a move for him this week before signing Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid on Friday. However, Coutinho instead looks set to remain at the Camp Nou, where he will be one of the players tasked with helping the club move forward in the post-Messi era.
One player, though, who could still leave is Ilaix Moriba. Talks over a new contract have broken down, with ESPN reporting last week that German club RB Leipzig want to sign him. Barca will ask for €15m for the young midfielder, whose deal expires in 2022. As a result, Barca have sent Ilaix to train with the B team, while he's not played any games for any of the club's teams since last season.
15.23 BST: Sevilla have signed striker Rafa Mir from Wolves for around €15m on a contract until June 2027.
Wolves technical director Scott Sellars said: "Rafa came to us as a young boy and now he's leaving us having developed his career, but still looking to progress. Joining Sevilla is a good move for him and a good move for Wolves as well. He's going back to La Liga, a league where he wants to play and where he's had very successful loan spells, especially the last two years at Huesca.
"This has given him a lot of confidence to progress onto the next step in his career, and we're pleased to have helped him in that journey."
15.10 BST: There's one young striker in Serie A who could make a perfect Harry Kane replacement.
14.25 BST: Pep Guardiola insists he is happy with the strength of his Manchester City side even if a new striker does not arrive before the transfer window closes.
City are still chasing a deal for Harry Kane, although time is running out to convince Tottenham to let him go before the Aug. 31 deadline.
Guardiola's side have started their season with two 1-0 defeats -- to Leicester and Tottenham -- but the City boss says he is satisfied with the players already at his disposal.
"Absolutely, more than happy," he told a news conference on Friday. "It is the same team except Sergio [Aguero] for Jack Grealish that we had last season."
With City struggling to land Kane -- rated at more than £150m by Tottenham -- the club have been linked with a swoop for Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski. Guardiola worked with Lewandowski at Bayern but played down the chances of a reunion at the Etihad Stadium.
"Lewy is such an important player for Bayern Munich and he will stay at Bayern Munich," said Guardiola. "I am not going to talk to you and your colleagues [in the media] about 11 days left in the transfer market. I don't know what is going to happen."
14.12 BST: Wolves are looking to make a big splash before the transfer deadline closes as they look to sign Valencia attacker Goncalo Guedes, sources told ESPN's David Cartlidge.
The Premier League side have let Valencia know, through agent Jorge Mendes, they will soon make their opening offer. Mendes works closely with both clubs and will oversee all aspects of any deal.
Valencia decided at the beginning of the summer to let Guedes leave the club, with the player keen to go. They are looking for a fee between €25m-€30m for the Portugal international -- an amount that Wolves have indicated they are willing to pay.

Social media is a boon for athletes because it allows them to speak directly to the world. No filters, no club press officers, no sponsor PR reps, no misquotes. Just their voice, with their chosen words and the opportunity to clarify and rectify. Somebody probably should have told Cristiano Ronaldo's social media team, because even as Tuesday night's Instagram post passed 12 million likes, it ends up raising more questions than it answers.
With fresh rumours and speculation continuously blowing in through the open transfer window, clubs and players -- understandably -- pick their spots to speak out. But when they do take to social, you'd think they'd do it in a way that makes their stance clearer and easier to understand and digest. Ronaldo's post did no such thing.

13.14 BST: Should Paul Pogba sign a new deal at Man United?
12.33 BST: Fabrizio Romano reports that Bayern are set to announce that midfielder Joshua Kimmich has signed a contract extension until 2025.
His midfield partner Leon Goretzka has reportedly agreed new terms as well, which is key as his deal is set to expire in 2022.
Manchester United have never been close to signing Goretzka, despite recent reports to the contrary.
12.08 BST: Everton manager Rafa Benitez has confirmed that former Liverpool goalkeeper Andy Lonergan has been signed as a back-up option after youngster Harry Tyrer was injured.
Lonergan, 37, spent the 2019-20 campaign with Liverpool but didn't play. He then moved to Stoke and had a short-term deal with West Bromwich Albion last season.
Benitez said: "He's a player that can give us some experience as we needed to sort out this problem, just in case. We have a new signing, but maybe it's a player nobody was expecting."
Joao Virginia is now expected to leave the club on loan, with Jordan Pickford and Asmir Begovic the first-choice pair.
12.00 BST: Tottenham Hotspur have not expressed a desire to offload Harry Winks despite speculation linking him with a move to Everton or Aston Villa, sources told ESPN's James Olley.
The 25-year-old started nine Premier League games last season and was an unused substitute in last weekend's 1-0 win over Manchester City.
However, Winks was involved in Thursday night's Europa Conference League play-off first leg defeat against Pacos Ferreira and sources claim he is keen to fight for his place under new head coach Nuno Espirito Santo.
Spurs are thought to be keen on offloading a number of players including another midfielder Tanguy Ndombele -- who was offered to Lyon in a possible swap deal for Houssem Aouar -- but sources told ESPN that Winks, who also attracted interest from Sevilla and Valencia, has not been informed he is among those deemed surplus to requirements.
Barring a late change of heart, Winks will spend another year at Spurs aiming to revive his club and international career, having last featured for England in November 2020 against Iceland.
11.37 BST: Arsenal's decision to commit £30m on Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has surprised many but senior figures at the club increasingly believe this will be Bernd Leno's final season in north London, sources told ESPN's James Olley.
Rather than signing Ramsdale as Leno's understudy, the pair are expected to fight for the No. 1 spot this term.
Arsenal's lack of European competition means manager Mikel Arteta does not have as many games as he would like to rotate his squad and offer fringe players more minutes, but Ramsdale's arrival will ease any pressure on the club at the end of the campaign should Leno's situation not change. Leno's contract expires in 2023 and he has previously hinted at seeking a new challenge having joined the club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2018.
Arsenal have allowed players to run down their contracts in the past, or been susceptible to lower offers from teams for those with a year remaining on their contract, which has weakened their bargaining power. But Ramsdale's imminent arrival will put them in a stronger position to move Leno on for a fee when he has one year left on his deal.
11.18 BST: Mexico international Jesus Manuel "Tecatito" Corona has obtained the Portuguese passport amid reports linking him with a move from FC Porto to Sevilla, says ESPNDeportes.
Only three non-EU players are allowed to feature in LaLiga squads so the news boosts Corona's hopes of making a transfer to Julen Lopetegui's side, as they already have Brazilian centre-back Diego Carlos and Argentina duo Marcos Acuna and Gonzalo Montiel.
Yet, the negotiations between the clubs won't be easy as FC Porto only have 66.6% of Corona's rights, with the remaining part belonging to Dutch side FC Twente.
11.11 BST: Chelsea have loaned United States men's national team defender Matt Miazga to LaLiga side Alaves, it was announced on Friday.
The deal will be a season-long loan with Miazga extending his contract with Chelsea through the 2022-23 season.
It is the fifth loan for Miazga since joining the Blues from Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls in 2016. He has previously done stints at Vitesse, Nantes, Reading, and Anderlecht.
The 26-year-old New Jersey native had previously spoken about wanting to find a permanent club, telling ESPN's Jeff Carlisle in June that "it's time to move on. Chelsea knows that, and I know that as well."
"I'm not young anymore; I want to settle down," Miazga added. "When the season is finished, it's like, 'All right, I'm coming back here, and it's set in stone.'"
10.45 BST: How likely is it that Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski will leave the club?
10.16 BST: South Africa men's national team coach Hugo Broos has advised Brighton and Hove striker Percy Tau to find a new club, in order to get more time on the pitch.
Tau signed for the Seagulls nearly three years ago but has seen minimal game time for them and, while Broos has named the forward in his squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers, he has warned that he wants his players on the pitch rather than the sidelines, especially those in Europe.
Broos told the media on Thursday: "Percy Tau, I hope, I hope he can leave Brighton and that he can go to a [new] club. There is talk about Egypt, Pitso [Mosimane] who is in Al Ahly; it should be a very good thing for him because there he has a coach who knows him."
10.05 BST: Argentine star Dario Benedetto is set to continue his career in LaLiga after completing a loan move from Marseille to Elche.
The former Boca Juniors forward joined Marseille in 2019 and had a promising first campaign in Ligue 1, scoring 11 goals. However, the 31-year-old striker only netted five more during last season and was looking to leave the club for a new experience abroad.
09.34 BST: Former England international Gary Cahill has joined Bournemouth on a one-year deal after his contract with Crystal Palace expired at the end of last season.
The 35-year-old centre-back played 47 games in all competitions for Premier League club Palace after signing on a free transfer following his release from Chelsea in 2019.
Cahill enjoyed a successful seven-year stint at Stamford Bridge, winning the Champions League as well as two Premier League and FA Cup titles.
09.21 BST: Real Madrid will follow this week's renewal of Thibaut Courtois with a new contract for Karim Benzema, sources told ESPN's Alex Kirkland and Rodrigo Faez, with an extension for Federico Valverde also in the works.
The club have also announced renewals for Luka Modric, Lucas Vazquez, Nacho Fernandez and Dani Carvajal in recent months.
On Monday, Madrid announced a two-year extension for goalkeeper Courtois to keep him at the Bernabeu until 2026. Next in line is a new contract for forward Benzema, 33, whose deal expires in June 2022. The terms of the renewal -- for an extra year, until 2023 -- have already all been agreed, with the club viewing the France international as a veteran leader in the dressing room alongside Casemiro and Modric.
08.45 BST: Kylian Mbappe is on Manchester United's list of potential targets as they plot a move for a big-name forward next summer, sources told ESPN's Rob Dawson.
United are open to the possibility of adding another player to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad in this transfer window, with the club holding an interest in the central midfield and right-back position ahead of the Aug. 31 deadline. United are also building for the future, and plan to sign a centre-forward in the 2022 summer window with Solskjaer and the recruitment team drawing up a list of options.
08.15 BST: Arsenal have completed the permanent signing of midfielder Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid for around €40m.
Odegaard, 22, spent last season on loan with the Premier League club and scored two goals in 20 appearances.
The Norway international returned to Spain this summer and attempted to break into Madrid's first team but was told by new manager Carlo Ancelotti that he would face competition for a regular place.

- Arsenal are looking to move on three players from their squad before the end of the summer transfer window, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The Gunners are hoping to receive offers for Willian, Hector Bellerin and Lucas Torreira, none of which played a part in their opening day defeat to Brentford.
- United States international Weston McKennie could be set to leave Juventus after just one season at the Serie A club. That is according to Calciomercato, which reports that the Bianconeri are willing to listen to offers for the 22-year-old. McKennie had made a good start at Juve after joining from Schalke for €18.5m, but played a more sporadic role as the season wore on.
- While outgoings may be a priority at Barcelona amid well-reported financial difficulties, there is still a view on incomings at Camp Nou. AS reports that Ronald Koeman is hoping to add Getafe midfielder Mauro Arambarri to his ranks but only as an initial loan as they look to sort out their wage issues. Not only do Barcelona have to move some players on to make a move possible, Getafe are reportedly holding out for a club to trigger the player's release clause of €25m to let him leave.
- Internazionale are growing confident in signing striker Marcus Thuram from Borussia Monchengladbach, according to Sky Italy. The Nerazzurri have been looking to bolster their attacking options after the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea, having already moved to sign Edin Dzeko from AS Roma this window. The Bundesliga club's initial valuation was €30m, something that Inter were unlikely to meet but it is believed the two parties have advanced in talks since.
- Jesse Lingard is prepared to leave Manchester United if the club cannot guarantee him game time, according to The Times. The 28-year-old impressed on-loan last season for West Ham United, bringing him back into the England reckoning with a call-up before Euro 2020, though he didn't make the final squad. Lingard has been involved in the Red Devils' preseason, scoring against both QPR and Derby County, but with United's strength in attacking depth, there is no guarantee he will get as much game time as he desires.
