The summer transfer window is closed for the top leagues in Europe! After a summer full of international football, countless clubs waited until the last minute to pull off their transfers. See all the major deals here and check out how we graded the biggest signings. But just because the window is shut until January, that doesn't mean the rumours won't keep coming.
TOP STORY: PSG plotting Rudiger move
Paris Saint-Germain look to be continuing their work in the free transfer market with sporting director Leonardo planning a move for Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger, according to Le10 Sport.
Chelsea have been working to resolve the Germany international's contract situation for some time, but it appears that he won't sign new terms at Stamford Bridge.
And as time begins to tick down on Rudiger's contract, which ends in 2022, the Ligue 1 club are waiting patiently to acquire the 28-year-old as a free agent after an already busy summer.
The defender has been a vital part of Thomas Tuchel's plans since the former PSG manager arrived in the Premier League, having played every minute of the Blues' campaign so far this season.
But reports say that Rudiger's representatives have "barely touched base" with Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia over a new deal and he is waiting until January when he can open talks with clubs outside England about a move.

21.57 BST: VfB Stuttgart are keen on securing Kostas Mavropanos on a permanent deal, according to Bild.
The 23-year-old can join the Bundesliga club permanently for a £2.6m transfer fee because of an option clause in his two-year loan deal, and it is reported that Stuttgart director Sven Mislintat is ready to give the green light. The Arsenal defender has impressed during his time in the German Bundesliga, becoming a key player for the Schwabenmetropole since arriving on loan, with form that has seen him earn caps for Greece.
21.24 BST: Alexia Putellas has penned new terms at Barcelona that will see her contract extended until 2024, the club announced on Wednesday. The captain of the Blaugranes and Spain national team has helped her side to back-to-back LaLiga titles in the past two seasons, including a 2020-21 campaign that was capped off with a Women's Champions League victory.
20.51 BST: Nampalys Mendy's move to Galatasaray is off, writes Foot Mercato. The Leicester City star had agreed a loan deal with the Turkish Super Lig club, but with the transfer window in Turkey closing Wednesday night, the midfielder is unable to find a way to get to Istanbul.
It is reported that both clubs worked hard to find a route that would have seen the 29-year-old travel from his national team's base in Senegal to Turkey via Congo, before realising that the player would not make it in time.
20.18 BST: David Luiz could be set for a move back to Brazil after rejecting two offers from European clubs, according to the Daily Star. The centre-back has been out of contract since a two-year deal with Arsenal expired in the summer, and despite claims that the former Brazil international preferred a move in Europe, the 34-year-old has reportedly turned down approaches from both Marseille and Salernitana.
19.45 BST: The race for Sardar Azmoun is heating up with the forward set to be out of contract at the end of the season. Calciomercato writes that both AC Milan and AS Roma are considering moves for the Zenit St. Petersburg front man, who has continued his scoring run with five goals in as many matches this season.
While the Iran international received offers from a number of clubs in Europe's top leagues over the summer, it now looks as though teams will look to take advantage of the opportunity to recruit a proven goal scorer on a free transfer if he fails to agree new terms with the Russian Premier League outfit.
19.12 BST: A move for Amadou Diawara looked uncertain on Tuesday, but it is now reported that the player is close to a transfer to Galatasaray. France Football writes that talks have intensified in the past few hours between AS Roma and the Turkish Super Lig club, with a loan move expected to be completed by the end of the transfer window. The 24-year-old made 18 appearances for the Serie A club last season but has been unable to earn a regular place in Jose Mourinho's preferred XI.
18.39 BST: Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte reports that former Manchester United and Lyon defender Rafael is set to sign with Botafogo. The right-back will sign a three-year contract with the club where he is reported to have accepted a lower salary to get the deal over the line. The 31-year-old also had offers from Fortaleza and Internacional.
18.06 BST: Real Madrid are the latest team reported to be interested in Fulham's highly rated prospect Fabio Carvalho. The Mail writes that the Championship star has a host of clubs monitoring his situation in West London as he enters the final year of his contract with the Cottagers. The 19-year-old has already contributed to four goals in five games in the league this season, and that form has captured the attention of a number of Premier League clubs, who will now face competition from the Santiago Bernabeu.
17.33 BST: Paris Saint-Germain could face competition in their pursuit for Antonio Rudiger, with SPORT1 reporting that a number of top clubs in Europe have enquired about the Germany international. The Chelsea defender's contract expires at season's end, and with the 28-year-old one of the lowest earners at Stamford Bridge and having turned in a number of impressive performances last campaign, a bidding war could soon develop as teams try to tempt the centre-back away from West London.
17.00 BST: Tottenham Hotspur are looking to move Ryan Sessegnon on loan to Fenerbahce, according to CNN Turk. The report states that the 21-year-old was offered to the Turkish Super Lig club and manager Vitor Pereira is keen on the former Fulham starlet. Sessegnon spent last season on loan at TSG Hoffenheim, contributing to five goals in 17 games while playing on the left flank.
16.02 BST: Manchester City face the prospect of picking third choice goalkeeper Scott Carson for their Premier League clash against Leicester City on Saturday with U.S. No.1 Zack Steffen recovering from COVID-19.
Eight Premier League players could miss the weekend's fixtures after sources told ESPN the Brazilian FA invoked a FIFA rule which prevents players from featuring for their clubs if they are not released for international duty.
The Premier League stopped players from joining up with their countries if it meant travelling to red list countries.
This means City would be without first-choice goalkeeper Ederson while back-up Steffen tested positive for COVID-19 while on international duty with the United States meaning 36-year-old Carson could get the nod to start against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
The former England goalkeeper has made just one senior appearance since moving to the Etihad Stadium from Derby County, initially on loan, in 2019.
Sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson that the Premier League are in discussions with both Brazilian authorities and FIFA in an attempt to resolve the situation and there is still hope Ederson will be cleared to play.
15.23 BST: Former Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is reportedly unhappy at Fenerbahce, says AS.
Ozil, 32, joined Fenerbahce as a free agent in January following his exit from Arsenal but has struggled with injury and the Turkish club's boss Vitor Pereira has used 20-year-old Muhammed Gumuskaya instead.
With three years left on his contract, Ozil could be set for another move and is reportedly being monitored by clubs in Qatar and MLS.

14.25 BST: Speaking of Liverpool's chase for a new midfielder...
There had been some reports about the club's interest in Dortmund's Jude Bellingham for around £80m, but The Times claims any suitors "may have to wait until after the next World Cup before luring him from Borussia Dortmund."
With striker Erling Haaland set to leave next summer for his €75m release clause, the battle for Bellingham's signature will likely be delayed until 2023. And, like Haaland, it will likely involve all the top clubs in Europe.
13.55 BST: AC Milan are reportedly set to propose a swap deal involving Franck Kessie and Liverpool's Thiago Alcantara in January, according to Il Milanista.
Kessie's contract expires in 2022 and the midfielder is attracting a lot of attention, namely from PSG, Tottenham and now Liverpool.
Milan may be open to letting the Ivory Coast international go in the winter to get some kind of transfer fee, but The Liverpool Echo claims that "Thiago remains an important part of the set-up under Jurgen Klopp."
13.11 BST: Spain international Pablo Sarabia has revealed his reason for leaving Paris Saint-Germain to join Sporting CP on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day.
A youth product of Real Madrid, Sarabia scored 22 goals and set up 12 more in 79 games after joining PSG from Sevilla in 2019.
"I took the decision to go there because they have placed their trust in me," the attacking midfielder said. "I want to play and enjoy football. I'm in a very good stage of my career and I want to play. I'm going to Portugal because I believe it's the best place to continue my career.
"To play is crucial for me, to feel good about myself. I think there [at PSG], it would have been very difficult so I believe the decision has been the right one as I will be able to enjoy having more playing time."
The 29-year-old has a contract with PSG until June 2024.
12.45 BST: Eduardo Camavinga has been presented by Real Madrid after moving from Rennes for around €30m.

12.22 BST: Zenit St Petersburg striker Sardar Azmoun has revealed that Spurs were one of a number of clubs who failed with a bid to sign him this summer.
"I have a contract. Even if I wanted to leave Zenit, they can stop me and there is nothing I can do," he said, as reported in The Sun. "I had offers from Tottenham, Lyon, Bayer Leverkusen and Roma, and Zenit refused them. If I leave, I will do it next summer as a free agent."
The Iran international has netted 50 times in 70 league games for Zenit.
11.31 BST: Barcelona have no money, so it's unlikely they could have brought Neymar back from PSG.
10.19 BST: Not often a club touts their star striker for another club, but Genk are doing it with 6-foot-7 striker Paul Onuachu.
Onuachu, 27, joined Genk from Midtjylland in 2019 and has scored 33 goals in 38 appearances last season. And the Nigeria international's height would clearly come in useful for Liverpool, according to Genk technical director Dimitri de Conde.
De Conde told Het Belang van Limburg: "Did you see Liverpool against Chelsea [the 1-1 draw]? Liverpool have the best strikers, but none with the same profile as Onuachu. He would have scored against 10 men. I'm not saying that Paul would play 90 minutes every week in Liverpool, but a club like that could really use him."
09.44 BST: Sport reports that Premier League champions Manchester City saw a £6.5m bid for Palmeiras winger Wesley Ribeiro Silva rejected on the last day of the transfer window.
Wesley, 22, has made the breakthrough into the Palmeiras first team but the club are holding out for offers above £10m.
City signed 18-year-old Kayky from Fluminense recently and have made efforts to bring in the best young South American talent.
08.59 BST: ICYMI - Manchester United remain keen on West Ham United's Declan Rice despite deciding against investing in a midfielder this summer, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward were aware of the clamour among supporters to sign a new midfielder during the transfer window, but sources have told ESPN that a winger and centre-back were identified as the club's primary targets.
The summer budget was spent on winger Jadon Sancho and defender Raphael Varane, while a deal for forward Cristiano Ronaldo was financed with funds from outside the transfer pot.
Sources have told ESPN that a striker and a midfielder are on the list ahead of next summer with England international Rice among a number of options that will be narrowed down over the course of the next 12 months.
It is likely West Ham would have to lower their valuation of the 22-year-old -- who is under contract until 2024 -- which has stood at more than £80m.
08.30 BST: Jesse Lingard has rejected a new contract at Manchester United as he seeks assurances about his first team prospects at Old Trafford, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.
Lingard has entered the final year of his deal and has been offered fresh terms to extend his stay at the club. However, the England international forward has turned down United's initial approach and is keen to ensure he will get the opportunity to play regularly before making a decision about his future.
If a new contract is not agreed with United, Lingard, who graduated through the academy to make more than 200 senior appearances, will be able to leave as a free agent at the end of the season and can begin negotiating with clubs outside England from January.
The 28-year-old is determined to find regular football in order to keep his place in Gareth Southgate's England squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He narrowly missed out on a place in the squad for Euro 2020 as England made it all the way to the final but returned to the team for the 4-0 win over Andorra on Sunday, scoring twice and recording an assist.

- Internazionale are looking to sign up multiple key first-team players to new contracts, says Fabrizio Romano. The Serie A Champions are working on deals for Lautaro Martinez, Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic. The move comes as the Nerazzurri look to secure their top players after losing both Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi from their title-winning side in the summer.
- The Evening Standard writes that Chelsea will return for Jules Kounde after failing to get a deal completed over the summer transfer window. Tuchel is set to prioritise reinforcements in defence with Thiago Silva in the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge. Kounde has remained in Sevilla's plans, starring in a 1-0 win against Getafe before the international break.
- David Luiz would prefer a move to a club in Europe, according to the latest episode of the Here We Go Podcast. The 34-year-old has been out of contract since the summer after a two-year spell with Arsenal, and despite recent links with Lazio in Serie A, the former Brazil international is yet to sign terms with a new club.
- Galatasaray are working against the deadline to secure a loan move for Nampalys Mendy, according to Footmercato. The Leicester City midfielder is reported to have agreed to terms with the Turkish Super Lig club, but with the window set to close on Wednesday, both sides are now in a race against time to get the deal over the line with a long flight to Istanbul ahead for the Senegal international.
- Stefano Okaka's time in Udinese looks to be over with the striker set to sign with Istanbul Basaksehir, as per Gianluca Di Marzio. The 32-year-old is expected to sign a two-year deal with the option of a third. The forward hit four goals in 17 starts in Serie A last season and registered an assist in Udinese's 2-2 draw with Juventus on the opening day of the 2021-22 campaign.
