LIVE Transfer Talk: Real Madrid hope to sign PSG star Kylian Mbappe after Euro 2020

Amid all the action at Euro 2020 and the Copa America, the summer transfer window has opened for some leagues, with Europe's biggest clubs looking to make a splash in the transfer market. Check out the latest gossip below, and see all official deals here.

TOP STORY: Real Madrid eye Mbappe move after Euro 2020

While Kylian Mbappe is performing at Euro 2020 for France, Real Madrid are working out how to sign him from Paris Saint-Germain, as has been reported by Marca.

The attacker, who won a penalty in Les Bleus' 2-2 draw against Portugal, has long been linked with a move to Madrid, while Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland is another widely reported target.

However, it now seems that Madrid's attention is firmly fixed on Mbappe and completing a deal this summer -- even though the 22-year-old is staying quiet about his future, both internally and externally, until the Euros have come to an end.

Los Blancos are willing to wait, and they're counting on Mbappe turning down an extension to his current contract, which keeps him at Parc des Princes until June 2022.

It is then hoped that Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Florentino Perez, president of PSG and Real Madrid respectively, will meet to negotiate a move that sees Mbappe move to the Bernabeu.

Even with the contract situation, any deal will cost Real Madrid upwards of €100 million, but they are looking to recuperate a significant portion of that fee with the departures of players such as Luka Jovic, Dani Ceballos and Brahim Diaz.

22.30 BST: That will do it for the latest edition of our LIVE Transfer Talk blog. We hoped you enjoyed following along with us and remind you to check back shortly for the latest transfer rumours, reports and completed deals. Goodnight!

22.00 BST: Lazio winger Joaquin Correa is a wanted man but Lazio have no intention for selling him at a discount.

Calciomercato understands that Lazio will not accept any less than €30 million for the Argentine, who is reportedly wanted by the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal. Correa, 26, had 11 goals and six assists last season in 38 games over all competitions for Lazio.

21.19 BST: Lille wide man Jonathan Ikone is looking to leave the club this summer, Calciomercato has learned.

The ex-PSG man, 23, has been linked with both Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan. Ikone played a key role in Lille's surprising run to the Ligue 1 title, scoring seven goals and adding seven assists in 48 appearances over all competitions.

20.26 BST: Man United are one of five clubs in for River Plate midfielder Nicolas De La Cruz, TNT Sports reports.

The 24-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Uruguay at the Copa America, is also being monitored by Fiorentina and three other unnamed clubs. River Plate are reportedly looking between €16-20 million for the attacking midfielder, who has scored 19 goals and provided 28 assists in 118 appearances since joining the Argentine giants in 2017.

19.39 BST: Bayern Munich have announced that highly-rated youngster Jann-Fiete Arp will join second-division side Holstein Kiel on a year-long loan.

The 21-year-old, who was once regarded as one of the Bundesliga's top young talents, will hope to kick-start his career following a year marred by illness and injury. Arp made his debut in 2017 with Hamburger against Werder Bremen, becoming the first player born in the 2000s to appear in the Bundesliga.

18.55 BST: Kylian Mbappe won't be the only Mbappe at PSG next season, as the club announced on Friday that they have signed Kylian's younger brother Ethan Mbappe.

The 15-year-old, who has been a member of PSG's youth ranks, has signed a three-year contract through 2024.

18.04 BST: The San Jose Earthquakes have acquired Brazilian centre-back Nathan from FC Zurich.

The 26-year-old has signed a three-year contract (2021-23) with a club option for 2024 using Targeted Allocation Money. The central defender joined Zurich in 2019 and has made 63 appearances during that timeframe, including 32 last season.

A former Brazil Under-20 international, Nathan came through the ranks at Palmeiras, winning a. Copa do Brazil in 2015.

17.19 BST: Everton are looking to sign ex-Man United centre-back Chris Smalling from Roma, Corriere dello Sport claims.

The Italian club are not looking to sell the 31-year-old, but are reportedly willing to listen to offers from the Toffees. Roma would likely want to recoup most of the £18 million they paid for the defender last summer, and would also need to line up a replacement.

16.23 BST: Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

Tierney, 24, signed from Celtic in 2019 for £25m and has impressed at the Emirates since, despite a few injury issues.

Technical director Edu said: "We are so pleased to have agreed a new long-term deal with Kieran. Anyone who has seen him play will recognise very quickly that he is a player of huge ability, but I can tell you that he is also a player with a fantastic attitude and mentality. Kieran's new contract is not just about the present and next season, it's with a long-term vision and Kieran being an integral part of the future of the club."

Manager Mikel Arteta added: "This is great news for us today. As manager of the club, speaking on behalf of the coaching staff and the entire staff, it's a pleasure to work with KT. His quality, energy, commitment and professionalism, not only on matchdays, but every day in training are always at such a high level. KT gives us so much extra strength both defensively and offensively and it's great to know that he'll be with us for the long term. Since his move from Celtic, his work ethic and quality has ensured that he is already one of most exciting players in the Premier League and a hugely important part of our team, both on and off the pitch."

15.55 BST: The Manchester Evening News says that Manchester United's move for Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane is "progressing slowly."

Varane, 28, looks set to leave Madrid this summer, with United already having made a €55m bid which was rejected. Madrid are holding out for €80m, despite the fact Varane is out of contract next year but the report says "United are confident of negotiating Madrid's valuation down."

15.07 BST: Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, according to ABC.

Kounde, 22, has been tracked by a host of clubs this summer and is first-choice to replace Sergio Ramos at Real Madrid. But Sevilla are looking for around €80m for the Frenchman, with Madrid only willing to offer €55m so far.

Chelsea and Machester United are also following him and a bid of €65m could get it done, though Tottenham may be priced out of a move if that's the case.

14.40 BST: Manchester United stars could be at risk in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's summer revamp of his squad, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.

Enquiries made by agents and intermediaries over the availability of players like Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek have been met with a response from the club that "every player has a realistic valuation."

Sources have told ESPN that realistic offers for squad players will be considered during the summer transfer window but that Solskjaer expects the bulk of his core group to stay.

Van de Beek endured a difficult first season at Old Trafford following his £40m move from Ajax but sources insist the midfielder is willing to fight for his place. The 24-year-old is on holiday after pulling out of the Netherlands squad for Euro 2020 because of injury.

Martial has not featured since March after picking up a knee injury. Should he stay, he is likely to find increased competition for a place in Solskjaer's team with United close to wrapping up a deal with Borussia Dortmund for winger Jadon Sancho. Remaining details like payment structure and bonuses are still to be ironed out but sources have told ESPN a problematic gap in valuation between the two clubs has mostly been overcome.

Meanwhile, Diogo Dalot and Andreas Pereira, who spent last season on loan with Milan and Lazio respectively, could leave again while a decision is yet to be made on Jesse Lingard's future.

14.07 BST: Inter Milan have signed 38-year-old goalkeeper Alex Cordaz from Crotone. The Italian began his career at Inter before moving on in 2006.

14.01 BST: Will Lionel Messi sign a new contract to stay at Barcelona?

13.20 BST: Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Nuno Espirito Santo as they look to bring their chaotic managerial search to an end, sources have told ESPN's James Olley.

Nuno, who is out of work having left Wolves by "mutual agreement" in May after four years in charge, has not been offered the job as of yet but positive discussions have taken place in recent days with new managing director of football Fabio Paratici thought to be particularly keen on his appointment.

However, other candidates are still under consideration with Ajax's Erik ten Hag not entirely ruled out and Brighton's Graham Potter another name on their radar.

13.05 BST: ICYMI - Manchester United are closing in on a deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, although the two clubs remain apart in their valuation of the England winger, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.

United have intimated they are willing to pay £72m for Sancho even though Dortmund are asking for closer to £77m.

Sources say Dortmund also want around £4m in add-ons, while United still have to agree a payment structure for the fee -- another potential stumbling block.

Despite the issues to overcome, sources have told ESPN progress is being made and there is confidence on all sides that an agreement can be found.

12.41 BST: Italian outlet Il Romanista says that Roma could offer 23-year-old midfielder Amadou Diawara to Arsenal in a bid to land Granit Xhaka.

Sources told ESPN that Arsenal are in advanced talks with the Serie A side over a £16m move for Xhaka as manager Mikel Arteta looks to raise funds to rebuild his squad, having missed out on European qualification for the first time in 26 years.

Xhaka, 28, is keen on a fresh challenge after five seasons at Emirates Stadium and wants to play under Jose Mourinho, but Roma are reportedly only willing to pay a fee of £12m.

Diawara has been linked with Arsenal before but his career has faltered somewhat since making a €21m move to Roma from Napoli in 2019.

12.14 BST: Barcelona are tracking Denmark and Sampdoria midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard, says SPORT.

Damsgaard, 20, scored a great goal against Russia in the final group game as Denmark won 4-1 to progress to the knockout stages and Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero told Il Secolo XIX: "Did you see Damsgaard's goal? I'll tell you, his price right now is at least €30m. But if he scores again, it will reach €40m."

Given they really don't have much money, Barca better move quickly then.

11.35 BST: Liverpool forward Harry Wilson looks set to leave the club and Goal reports that Benfica are keen to sign him.

Wilson, 24, scored seven goals and managed 12 assists in 37 matches on loan at Cardiff City in the Championship last season. Liverpool now want to move him on in a permanent deal and not another loan, with Brentford and West Brom also keen.

However no club has yet met Liverpool's €15m (£13m) asking price.

11.00 BST: Speaking of Harry Kane's potential move to Man City...

10.24 BST: Earlier this month, ESPN reported that Pep Guardiola wanted Jack Grealish as part of Manchester City's summer squad strengthening programme, with sources saying that the City manager regards the Aston Villa midfielder as important a target as Tottenham forward Harry Kane.

TalkSPORT first reported that Grealish is now set to join City in £100m deal and sources confirmed to ESPN that an agreement is close.

Sources added that City will retain their interest in Kane even if they get a deal for Grealish over the line. Kane still has three years left on his contract and is valued by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy at more than £150m.

The potential arrival of Grealish is likely to throw the futures of a number of City's current forwards into doubt. Sources have told ESPN that Bernardo Silva is open to leaving the Etihad Stadium amid interest from a number of clubs in Spain and Italy. Raheem Sterling has also been linked with a move after falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola for much of the second half of last season.

09.44 BST: Arsenal are closing on the £50m signing of centre-back Ben White from Brighton, so it looks like William Saliba is going to be sent on loan again, says Footmercato.

Saliba, 20, was signed for £27m in 2019 but hasn't yet played for the club as he's been on loan at Saint-Étienne and Nice.

Nice are interested in keeping him, but they will face competition from Newcastle United, Southampton, Rennes, Marseille, Lille, Bayer Leverkusen and a couple of unnamed clubs in Italy too.

09.10 BST: Which one player should the best teams be looking to land this summer? Including:

ARSENAL: Yves Bissouma, CM
BORUSSIA DORTMUND: Donyell Malen, FW
CHELSEA: Dusan Vlahovic, ST
LIVERPOOL: Youri Tielemans, CM
REAL MADRID: Nuno Mendes, LB

08.30 BST: Barcelona would be open to swapping Jordi Alba for Internazionale's Alessandro Bastoni but the Spain left-back has no intention of leaving Camp Nou, various sources have told ESPN.

Alba, 32, has a contract with Barca until 2024 and a €500m buyout clause, but he is one of the club's biggest earners at a time when they need to reduce their wage bill.

Italian champions Inter are one of the teams to have shown an interest in signing him, as first reported by Mundo Deportivo and confirmed by ESPN.

While a source close to Alba said he is not even contemplating a move this summer, Barca's need to trim outgoings means they would consider offers for much of their squad.

- AC Milan are moving for FC Copenhagen forward Mohamed Daramy, reports Calciomercato. In order to complete a deal, they would need to pay €10m and see off competition from Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, Sevilla FC and FC Salzburg.
