2005 PHILLIPS 66 BIG 12 MEN’S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Kansas City, Mo. (Kemper Arena)

First, Sports Radio 810 WHB will be broadcasting live from 9am - 10pm this Thursday and Friday from the Phillips 66 Big 12 Fan Fest inside Hale Arena.

9am - 11am - Crunch Time with Frank Boal, Dave Stewart, George Brett
11am - 2pm - The Program with Soren Petro
2pm - 7pm - Between the Lines with Kevin Kietzman and Todd Leabo
7pm - 10pm - The Freak Show with John Renshaw

Hale Arena sits next to Kemper Arena and has capacity for over 7,000 people.   There will be pep rally's from Kansas, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Iowa State and Kansas State.   The event is FREE

Contest Schedule:

Hit the Shot win the Tahoe: 5:30 pm Friday, March 11 th

Sign up only at Crown Automotive 3300 Iowa in Lawrence Kansas now until March 9 th    @ 5 :00pm
Two people will each have 24 seconds to make a lay-up, free throw, 3 pointer and then a half court shot.
If they make them all they win. They can take as many shots as needed until they make them all within the 24 seconds.
Participant must make the previously shot before they move forward to the next shot.
The only shot they can take once is the half court shot.
Participants win prizes for each shot that they make.

Scimeca’s Sausage eating contest: 5:00 pm Friday, March 11th
 
Each show will have two contestants representing their show. A total of 10 participants will compete against each other. Participants will have 8 minutes and 10 seconds to eat 8 Scimeca's sausages compete with the bun. The person who eats them the quickest will receive.

Watsons Indoor Olympics: 4:00 pm Friday, March 11th

Two 810 listeners will compete against Two 97.3 the Planet listeners in a series of events such as pinball. Air hockey, video games and more. The winner will receive a $1,000 Watson’s gift certificate. Stop by the Watsons game area all weekend long and try out some of the products available at Watson’s!
