| 1. The American Century Hole-in-One/Closest to the Pin Driving Contest
("Contest") will allow participants to hit golf balls at
various golf courses during Kevin Kietzman's "Between the Lines"
show. The participant who qualifies for the final round and either
hits a hole-in-one, or in the absence of a hole-in one, is closest
to the pin will win a trip for two to the American Century Championship
at Lake Tahoe. |
| 2. The participants will compete in a weeklong Contest. On each
day between Monday, June 16, 2003, Thursday, June 19, 2003, and participants
will attempt to hit a hole-in-one at various golf courses around the
Kansas City area between 2 p.m.-6 p.m. CDT. The top two qualifiers
from each of those days will advance to Friday's final round. On Friday,
June 20 an all-day event will take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
CDT from which four additional qualifiers will advance to the final
round. The final round will take place at 5 p.m., also during Kevin
Kietzman's show. |
3. Each day, the contest will take place at a different Kansas
City area golf course. The following golf courses are tentatively
scheduled, subject to change without notice:

| 4. In order to participate in the Contest participants must be present
at one of the participating golf courses between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00
p.m. CDT from Monday, June 16, through Thursday, June 19, or between
9 a.m. and 5 p.m. CDT on Friday, June 20. Top qualifiers from each
round must be present and compete in the final round at 5 p.m. on
June 20. Upon arrival at the Contest, the winner must show proof of
I.D. and will be asked to verify eligibility as outlined in Section
7, below. The Contest will be limited to the hours specified. Participation
will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is no guarantee
that all prospective participants will be able to compete within the
specified time limit. |
| 5. Upon verification of eligibility, each participant in each qualifying
round will receive 4 golf balls and will hit the balls toward a designated
green. The two participants in each qualifying round from Monday,
June 16, through Thursday, June 19, and the four participants in the
qualifying round on Friday, June 20, who make a hole-in-one or, if
less than the eligible number of participants makes a hole-in-one,
are closest to the pin, will advance to the final round. Each of
the top qualifiers competing in the final round will compete in
a one ball playoff and will hit the balls toward a designated green.
The top qualifier who hits a hole-in-one, or is closest to the pin
in the final round will be awarded the prize described in Section
6. If more than one top qualifier makes a hole-in-one then each
top qualifier who makes a hole-in-one will compete in a one-ball
playoff. The Contest winner will be awarded the prize described
in Section 6. Judging of the Contest will be carried out by employees
of the participating golf courses, WHB and American Century, and
their decisions will be final.

| 6. The Contest winner will be awarded a trip for two to the American
Century Championship at Lake Tahoe. The winner will receive two round-trip
airline tickets, ground transportation between Reno, Nevada and Lake
Tahoe, five nights at Harvey's Hotel and Casino, two passes to the
Celebrity Amateur and Celebrity Tournaments, and two credentials to
the American Century hospitality tent. The winner will be responsible
for all meals and other incidental expenses while attending the tournament.
The winner will also be responsible for payment of all taxes resulting
from receipt of the prize. |
| 7. The contest is open to individuals age 21 or older. Employees
of American Century Companies, Inc. ("ACC"), Sports Radio
810 WHB ("WHB"), the participating golf courses and all
other companies owned or controlled by ACC, WHB, the participating
golf courses and members of those employee's immediate families are
not eligible to participate. This contest is subject to all applicable
federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. |
| 8. The winner will execute a waiver permitting use of the winner's
name and likeness in any promotional material for the contest, including,
without limitation, any press releases relating to the event. These
rules and the Contest are subject to change or cancellation without
notice. |
