Jeff Montgomery

OFFICIAL HOST BIO: Jeff, who was one of the original investors in Union Broadcasting, has been involved in management at Union since his retirement from the Kansas City Royals in 1999. Jeff spent 17 years in professional baseball as a pitcher after being drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 9th round of the 1983 amateur draft. He has been involved in various capacities with the company including on-air roles, website development, and sales. The Wellston, Ohio native attended Marshall University prior to beginning his professional baseball career where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Jeff was inducted into the Royals Hall of Fame in 2003 and is the Royals all-time Saves leader with 304. He and his wife Tina have four children and reside in Leawood, Kansas. He enjoys traveling with his family, golf, and running.
