Leawood, KS (June 23, 2014) -The city's largest watch party to cheer on Team USA will be held again on Thursday at the Power & Light District in downtown Kansas City.
Team USA will face Germany at 11 am on Thursday, with all the stakes on the line to advance in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The watch party will again be presented by Sports Radio 810 WHB, Coors Light, the Power & Light District, Sporting KC and the Sprint Framily plan.
Sports Radio 810's Nate Bukaty and Steven St. John, co-hosts of "The Border Patrol", will emcee the event. Hundreds of giveaways will be presented to fans, courtesy of Coors Light and Sports Radio 810 WHB.
Capacity crowds filled the Power and Light District in the previous two World Cup matches versus Ghana and Portugal to watch the action on the KC Live! BIG screen. Footage of the watch party has been shown on ESPN and other national media outlets.
Sports Radio 810 WHB is Kansas City’s broadcast home for Team USA in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
