We opened Wednesday’s Program talking about the Royals’ walk-off win over the Twins and Ned Yost’s comments about the attendance. Yost then joined Soren for a one-on-one chat.

In the 11:00 hour: We reacted to Yost’s comments and took your calls.

In the 12:00 hour: Frank Boal joined us to talk about the latest news and to play another edition of “Frank Opinions”.

In the 1:00 hour: We previewed the Oakland Raiders with Damon Bruce of KNBR. Rany Jazayerli joined us to talk about Yost’s comments and other Royals news.

Program Postgame - Tuesday, August 26, 2014

We began Tuesday's Program talking about the Royals' second straight loss and whether fans were in panic mode.

In the 11:00 Hour: Adam Teicher, Chiefs beat writer for ESPN.com, joined us to talk about the Chiefs' loss to the Vikings and how the team looks heading into the pre-season finale at Green Bay.

In the 12:00 Hour: Rob Neyer, Fox Sports.com, joined us to talk about the Royals and their playoff chances.

In the 1:00 Hour: The Voice of America, Kevin Harlan, made his season debut to talk Chiefs and NFL.

Program Postgame - Monday, August 25, 2014

We began The Program talking about the Royals 6-3 road trip and the contract of Alex Gordon.

In the 11:00 Hour: Former Chiefs Pro Bowl center Tim Grunhard was in studio to talk about the Chiefs' 30-12 loss to the Vikings whether or not the team can improve before the regular season begins.

In the 12:00 Hour: Soren ran the Two-Minute Drill with stops in St. Louis, New York, Charlotte and the Bay Area. T.J. Carpenter joined us with post-practice comments of Chiefs offensive and defensive coordinators, Doug Pederson and Bob Sutton, respectively.

In the 1:00 Hour: We talked about the Royals, whether or not Alex Gordon should be in the MVP discussion and other MLB stories with ESPN's Jayson Stark.

We began Friday's Program talking about the mindset of the Royals - and their fans - as they approach the rest of the season.

In the 11:00 Hour: We talked about the wild week of Johnny Manziel and other NFL topics with Bob Glauber of New York Newsday and NBC Sports Talk.

In the 12:00 Hour: We ran the Two-Minute Drill with stops in Pittsburgh, Columbus, OH, Cleveland and Los Angeles.

In the 1:00 Hour: We played another edition of Stump the Chumps.

Program Postgame - Thursday, August 21, 2014

We began Thursday's Program reviewing the Royals' loss to the Rockies and examined that Ned Yost really only has three relievers he can count on, leaving him in a tough spot when he's in a tight game in the 5th or 6th. We also pondered how the Royals - and the fans - will respond when they stop playing .800 baseball.

In the 11:00 Hour: We talked a little Royals and a lot of college football with Blair Kerkhoff, college columnist and occasional Royals reporter for the Kansas City Star.

In the 12:00 Hour: We previewed high school football on the Missouri side with Randy Withers of 810 Varsity.com.

In the 1:00 Hour: We looked at the over/unders in college football with our picks expert, Fat Jack.

In the 11:00 o-clock hour: The Program was joined by Rany Jazayerli of Grantland to discuss the Royals run and their upcoming schedule.

In the 12:00 o-clock hour: The Program welcomed Tony Caridi, the Voice of the West Virginia Mountaineers to talk college football.

In the 1:00 o-clock hour: The Program was joined by TJ Carpenter from Arrowhead to talk Chiefs’ football.
