“What do I say in the open?  Whoopty do.”
--Bob Glauber from NY Newsday reacting to LJ signing with the Bengals

"It's kind of surprising to me that we're just hearing about all of this if he's that bad of a person.  We never heard anything during the Orange Bowl run.  Guys don't change.  If he's doing that now, he was probably doing some of that back then.  Now some things are coming out from former players saying different things, but if it was that bad, I'm surprised it's taken this long for it to come out the way it has."
--ESPN College Football Analyst Jayice Pearson on the allegations against KU Football Coach Mark Mangino

“It’s just lip service…it’s just crap coming out of the mouths of the upper echelon of the Chiefs when they keep talking about the top 53 if you got guys who say ‘I can’t be around hearing the name Dwayne Bowe.’  Voice that to your coach.  Voice that to your General Manager so when he’s wheeling and dealing in the off season he keeps the Hall of Fame tight end and deals the guy who quits on his team for 4 games.”
-Soren Petro on Mark Bradley’s refusal to answer questions about Dwayne Bowe

"That's the thing that I think really amazes me about Ben.  You look at his size.  I don't know if people realize how big he is.  He's a 6-5 240 guy.  He just doesn't stand there in the pocket.  He makes a lot of his plays where the protection or something breaks down.  Once again he's having a great year.  He has really good fundamentals.

I've been real impressed with the way Ben has developed.  I know early in his career I was one of the guys that was pretty critical of him because he had so much success early.  These last few years he's really developed into one of the top flight quarterbacks in the league."

--Former Chiefs QB Trent Green giving a scouting report on Steelers QB Ben Rothliesberger
