Union Broadcasting is excited to announce that Soren Petro, one of the most experienced and insightful sports radio hosts in the country, will move his highly rated show, “The Program,” to a new time slot. Beginning July 15th, you can hear Soren from 2PM-6PM on 810 WHB, streamed live at www.810whb.com or on our Sports Radio 810 WHB mobile application. Joining Soren will be producer/host Kurtis Seaboldt and technical producer Jed Marshall.
Speaking about the move, Petro said, “For over 15 years I’ve enjoyed hosting The Program middays on Kansas City’s only locally owned and operated sports station. WHB is truly a special place to work and I am excited to move to afternoons 2PM-6PM. Sports Radio 810 WHB has been a tremendous place for me to work and grow as a show host and I am thrilled to take the next step in my career with the afternoon slot on 810. I am looking forward to the new challenge and I’m honored that Chad Boeger has entrusted me with the afternoons.”
Union Broadcasting President Chad Boeger on The Program moving to the 2-6 time slot, “Soren is the consummate professional and is one of the best sports radio talk show hosts in the country. We are thrilled to have Soren move to the afternoon time slot to what we think is the best lineup of local sports talk anywhere.”
Over the next couple of weeks, we will announce a new midday show (10AM-2PM) to replace The Program.
